CCPA Presents VIVID! 2012 - Roosevelt University's Chicago College of Performing Arts presents its annual premier showcase. On Saturday, April 21st from 12pm to 4pm, the Jazz Studies Program of Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University, headed by Grammy Award winning drummer Paul Wertico, will present JAZZ FEST, a special afternoon concert featuring 5 of the school's small jazz groups. Each combo is coached by members of CCPA's distinguished jazz faculty and each will perform a specific style of jazz music.
If you're a jazz fan, or if you're interested in broadening your musical horizons, then CCPA's JAZZ FEST is a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
The event is open to all ages of the public and there's no cover, so come, listen and support the jazz artists of the future playing music of the past and present!
